Hollywood Bowl Portsmouth and American diner launch at Gunwharf Quays
Gunwharf Quays becomes home to a dazzling Hollywood Bowl this month, as the popular Bowlplex centre undergoes a major £750,000 refurbishment.
Work is well underway, with the centre remaining open for the duration of the refurbishment, which is set to complete on Friday 28th April.
The redesigned space will include a brand new Hollywood-style diner serving gourmet dogs and burgers, freshly-made shakes serviced in retro milk bottles, and signature desserts. The diner will sit alongside a brand new American-style bar serving house speciality cocktails.
Hollywood Bowl Portsmouth will become home to four brand new VIP lanes giving visitors the star treatment in a plush roped-off area, named after favorite American legends: Marilyn Monroe, Han Solo, Audrey Hepburn, and Elvis!
Portsmouth customers will soon have the chance to bowl in the exclusive area, hidden behind luxury red curtains with special pool-style bowling balls and funky coloured pins.
Upgrading to the VIP lanes will cost as little as £1.00 per person, per game.
Any of the centre’s 26 lanes can be pre-booked, and the new diner and bar spaces are ideal for moments of relaxation and celebration, including family gatherings, children’s parties, nights out, work functions, and informal work socials.
The centre’s amusement area has also been part of the transformation, and now features the latest industry-leading games, including Jurassic Park, Moto GP Bikes, Crossy Road, and old favourites like crane games with movie-related prizes.
There are also ‘Play for Prizes’ opportunities, where you’ll be able to collect tickets won on your favourite games and exchange them for anything from candy to remote-controlled Bugattis.
